Living with its disappointments
The MPG at 1500 miles from new around town is still only 26mpg (with aircon on) previous Mk7 Transit did 34mpg by comparison. On washing the van for 3rd time there is a build up of dirt around the bottom of the drivers and passenger doors (near the drain holes) This is due to the front mud flaps being too small and "shaped", leaving a gap for dirt to enter and be trapped by the rubber seals on the wheel arches. I believe a future rust trap for paintwork warranty claims. I have wrote to Ford with all my issues and these have been passed onto the Ford Design Team apparently, lets hope that they take note and change some of the things that I think don't work.
