Volkswagen Transporter – which engine is best?
I’m in the process of replacing my Ford Transit and really like the Volkswagen Transporter. Can you tell me which engine is best?

The 2.0 TDI engine is a good all-rounder, but I’d go for the 102PS for the short wheelbase and the 140PS unit for the long. Don’t buy the 180PS unit unless you are moving heavy loads on a weekly basis.
