Is the 2009 Volkswagen Caravelle auto any good?

I am interested in a used 2009 Volkswagen Multivan (European name for Caravelle).

It is a 2.5 diesel with an automatic box. I want the car for its space, versatility etc.

From what you say, this particular engine is "indestructible". I want to ask if the automatic box used in 2009 is a DSG type with its known problems or is it a traditional automatic.

Is it a good reliable autobox? And a good match to the engine? I try to prevent having pricey repairs... The car hasn't got much on the clock, 81,000km.
