Lovely when Working - Unreliable and Expensive to Fix

Having covered just 20,000 miles in our now 6 year old vito, (now 50,000 total) it has needed a dual-mass flywheel and clutch after 40,000 miles (£1500 job) and when the ABS stopped working the entire front hub needed replacing as the wheel speed sensor trigger wheel is built into the hub (£1100 job). Oil level sensor constantly telling us it's overfilled despite this not being the case and door control module has failed leaving us unable to adjust wing mirror and telling us the indicator bulb in the wing mirror has gone (it doesn't even have mirror indicators). The foot-operated parking brake has needed consistant adjustment too.

This van has clearly been put together with the focus being a quick build time at the factory - serviceability has been forgotten about.

Seats are comfy, steering wheel and rear view camera are nice however stereo is basic.

When it is working, it is a lovely vehicle to drive - refined and quiet however ownership has been soured by so many problems. Budget for £2000 a year on repairs and servicing.
