Mercedes-Benz Vito gets more kit and new trim lines for 2019

Mercedes-Benz is bolstering the Vito range for 2019, with buyers getting more equipment as standard.

The 2019 revisions coincide with the launch of three new models for the Mercedes-Benz Vito van, with buyers getting the choice of Pure, Progressive or Premium trim lines - all get automatic headlights, parking sensors, leather steering wheel and eight-way adjustable driver’s seat as standard.

Prices for the Vito 109 CDI Pure start from £20,630 and rise to £22,300 for the Progressive trim, before VAT, while the 114 CDI Premium is available from £27,190.

The Vito in Pure trim is available on 109 CDI, 111 CDI and 114 CDI vans, with all getting a semi-autonomous parking system that automatically steers the van into a parallel or bay space when activated. Parking sensors are also included, along with electric and heated door mirrors, automatic headlights and a driver’s seat with eight-way adjustment.

The range-topping Premium level is limited to 114 CDI, 116 CDI and 119 CDI models. It adds DAB audio, air conditioning, 17-inch alloy wheels, reversing camera and navigation. A vehicle alarm and double door locks are also included.

Vito load lengths are now identified as L1, L2 and L3, replacing the former Compact, Long and Extra Long nomenclature. The Vito Tourer model will retain its two Pro and ‘Select trim lines, with an additional Sport trim to be added in Spring 2019.
